French Tunisian born Samia Farah has studied Digital media and

design at The University Of The Arts in London (UK ) .

She is initially a musician of reggae dub Background she

also released record covers

for herself but also for UK and Japanese Artists.

Samia Farah work navigates between the real and the surreal.

Through her Illustration or paintings she tries to manifest

the collusion of different world

behind our illusion of certainty of reality.

Her work aim to raise questions as, the limit of what makes

one whole identity . She also use

herself as a subject adding masks or costumes that she creates

out of different materials .

Her digital collages which add a surrealistic flavor to her art.

Which is of a striking and haunted quality.

i Have created different Masks inspired by African Strength.Here next to the Palestinian Refugee Camp Al Fara'a 2011/me my mask and I
the dress is an Embroided Palestinian dress found in El Khalil.A little book will tell my experience about my Trip in Palestine.(Coming soon)

In Far'aa refugee Camp Naplouse!!African masks with the Palestinian Kids!we used the Palestinian colors The green the red and the black!it was very interresting to work and share ideas with those clever and suportive young boys.

This poster was made in Fara'a A refugee Camp not far from Naplouse in Palestine  ,i was invited by a Palestinian Gallery for an Artists residency!(Sep 2011)
I took a picture of it!i will do it Again!This poster has different names!the first one is "Genuine always win" and the second name is "19 minutes 48 sec rewind the tape."

My track "Arabs in disguise" is  available in Heavy Manners LP" Survival" recently released 2011
I was invited to record tracks with" Sistemo Negro "while Heavy Manners were recording their Album in Sistemo Negro studio ..they knew that i was in Tokyo and  invited me to sing in one of the track  of" Survival "their Fantastique LP.
Heavy Manners is known for their massive Reggae Dub style  they are  from Japan.
